Taking many images, hundreds or even thousands and stacking the best ones can reveal more details and colors found on the surface of the moon, a technique known as Lucky Imaging.
Close up on the moon. I used an Askar 80PHQ telescope and the ASI585MC Pro camera to capture this image. A stack of the best 30% of a total of 4,000 frames were used.
